Add WhatsApp to your Google Business Profile—and grab your review link too
Hi, I'm Max. These five minutes give prospects a free, direct path from Google to your WhatsApp inbox.
Before you start:
Your Google Business Profile must be claimed and verified. The WhatsApp chat option is also not yet available for every profile and region.

Add WhatsApp
- Open your Business Profile in Google Search or Maps and sign in with its managing Google account.
- Choose Edit profile, then Contact.
- Edit the Chat section and choose WhatsApp.
- Copy the direct WhatsApp link from your meiti WhatsApp settings. Alternatively, build it as
https://wa.me/<country-code><number>—without plus sign, spaces or brackets. - Save and test the new button in a private browser window.
Google only offers the chat option for selected regions and profiles. If the section is missing, nothing is broken—check again later.
Copy your review link while you're there
- Choose Read reviews on your profile.
- Click Get more reviews and copy the link.
- Paste it into meiti under Inbox settings → Reviews.
